The Affiliate Marketing JV Method
Remember the
free ebook and article
affiliate methods
I discussed earlier? An even better idea is the
affiliate marketing JV method. You
will be to sending your articles or ebooks to
successful ezine/newsletter owners. You can find newsletter related
to your topic by searching Google for
"your
topic ezine",
"your
topic newsletter", or "ezine
directory".
You will be sending the
owners a carefully crafted offer, telling them that they are
allowed to publish your article or ebook, as long as they
leave the resource box in place. This can be a little tricky… after all
these ezine publishers don't know you. How are they to know that your
article or ebook is worth their time? Here are some tips to help get you
noticed
This works best with an
ezine that you are already subscribed
to. If you need
to sign up with a newsletter just for this, then use
a free email account. Being
subscribed helps you personalize your offer
better.
Read a few issues or look
around their website to get a feel for their
style. You want to
make your message genuine and unique so study your
target.
Are they selling an ebook
themselves? Don't
ever include an affiliate link in your article/ebook that is
promoting their direct competition. Instead promote a product that would
be beneficial to their subscribers, without harming the
publisher's sales.
Send the owner a friendly
email with your very generous
offer. Here's an example of what I use
below for most of my affiliate marketing JV
offers:

Hi
_(their name here)_!
My
name is Jessica, and I'm a subscriber to
your newsletter. I always look forward to
receiving your latest dog advice. I
especially liked the issue about
__________.
I
recently wrote a mini ebook filled with 15
pages of delicious organic dog treat
recipes. I was considering selling it, but I
really don't want to go through the
hassle.
I
would instead like to offer this to you at
no cost, so that you can send it to your
list. I'm sure they'll love you for it. I've
gained so much from all your advice and I
wanted to give something back.
Please
email me back if you're interested – I'll
send it to you right away. Thank you for
your time!

Notice I said I was going
to sell it. This
gives your ebook more value, which is why I prefer using
ebooks instead of articles when doing
this. I think the
publisher is more likely to take a look if you claim it's so
good you were thinking about selling
it.
Now, the owner might take
you up on your offer, or he might not. Don't let fear of rejection stop you
from using this method. It's extremely profitable if used
correctly.
Don't limit yourself to
one newsletter either. Branch out and offer your article or
ebook to as many newsletters as you can
reach. Your
affiliate link could be read by over 100,000 people in just
a few days if a publisher sends your offer to their
list.
IMPORTANT: Personalize
each email. These
people are probably have crazy people emailing them all the
time or other business trying to partner up with
them. Be friendly
and try not to write like a robot.
Owners of newsletters hate
being "auto-emailed." Flattery goes a long way so USE it
if you want the owner to publish your work. Let your
personality show through your writing and you should see
some great results.
