Write the answers to these
questions down for each seperate website idea that you
have. Now it’s time to choose from the subjects you
chose earlier.
Pick the one that you can write the most about, does not
have too much competition, and people are interested
in.
The final test: Can you
think of ways to earn money from your web
site?
Here are some options.
-
Google
Adsense – You host ads on your website, and
Google will pay you for every click on an ad that happens
on one of your
webpages
-
Selling physical
merchandise that you
create
-
Selling physical
merchandise that you buy wholesale or from
liquidators
-
Selling physical
merchandise that you ship with drop
shippers
-
Directing users to
your Cafepress
store.
-
Directing users to
your Ebay store (which gives you
a discount on Final Value
Fees.
-
Selling ad space
through
Adbrite
or a similar
ad placement
program.
-
Selling a digital file
(ebook you wrote, resell rights ebook, public domain
ebook)
-
Selling your services
(local landscaping, boat repair,
etc.)
-
Finders fees for real
estate
-
Affiliate
commissions
-
Etc.
Now that you’ve chosen
your website subject, make a list of all the keywords people
will use to search for info about your subject, or closely
related to your subject.
Once you’ve chosen a
definite subject, it’s time to register a domain, sign up
with your web host, and find a site builder (see this article if you need help with
this area).
Then you build your content.
Tip: Use keywords in your
domain.
I've registered many 3 word domain names that do just
fine because keywords in the domain will help you rank
better.
It's a simple process to
earn money from your web site. The greatest
difficulties will be in learning all the technical aspects
of if (if you don't already) and actually putting your plan
into action. Luckily for you, it's 100% possible and
will all pay off in a few weeks.
