Starting
An Ebay Home Business
For many people, their
entire business depends on Ebay. You can do it too if
you can find a good supplier with an in demand
product. If you want to start an Ebay home business,
you would need to buy from wholesalers,
dropshippers, liquidators, or make the products
yourself. This
is the way to go if you're serious about your
Ebay business
opportunity.
You have to be pretty
careful with this plan. Tons of people have tried making
good money on Ebay, but got disappointing
results. You can't just list something
on Ebay and
expect to make a profit. The pricing
there is so competitive that you
have do quite a bit of research or you'll just end up
wasting time and money.
I like the market
research tool from
World Wide Brands. It's an excellent
tool. It can literally save and grow
your Ebay home
business opportunity.
Never list without doing research.
My advice to you would
be to stay away from the products that everyone else is
selling. How
can you make a decent profit when you're competing with 100
other sellers who are all selling the same iPod
model?
Find a profitable
niche (small market) to sell to. When you start making
money in that niche either expand on it or look for more
niches to sell to. I
suggest you always keep an eye out for new and profitable
trends. Other sellers will eventually start
copying you so you should constantly be on the lookout
for new markets.
Depending on your
supplier and your marketing skills, you may be able to make
good money just with auctions. Many people do this
with their Ebay home business. However, I would
strongly suggest you build your customer list and
relationship for long term
profits.
The real money will
come in when you collect your buyer's email addresses and
put them on your mailing list. These are now your customers, and not
just Ebay's.
Silent
Sales Machine is the best guide
I've found on doing this. You need to own your
list.
Period.
