Make Money Selling Affiliate Products By Giving Away Free Ebooks

This first method teaches you how to make money selling affiliate products by distributing viral ebooks.  That sentence may make it sound harder than it really is, so don't get scared.    You're going to write a short mini-ebook and then submit it to free ebook sites.  You're also going to really let people give it away or resell it for cash.  People will download your ebook, share it with their friends, and maybe even their mailing list.   Your free ebook will be passed to around to potentially thousands of people, with your affiliate links in it!

This is a great marketing technique because after you write and submit your ebook, practically all the marketing is done for you!   You can spend a few hours writing, and you'll attract traffic for years to come.

Writing an ebook might sound a little intimidating, but it’s a lot easier than you think.   Don’t think of it as a book, think of it as a few pages of information.  Break it down into smaller steps so it's easier to accomplish.  You can definitely do that, right?

First, download the free PDF compiling software from BCLTechnologies  or just download Open Office.    This will allow you to turn your Word documents into .pdf files.   If you don’t have Microsoft Word, go with Open Office - it's free and works great.

Now it’s time to write your ebook!   Pick the product you want to promote and make sure it looke like something you would actually want to buy.  If it converts terribly you're wasting your time.

Brainstorm an ebook topic relating to that ebook.   For example, let’s say you want to promote an ebook about “How To House Train Your Dog In 10 Days”.   A good topic to write your free ebook about would be “Teach Your Dog 5 Tricks In 5 minutes!”  

Your free ebook should be about something you know well, but if you need to do research, the best place to look is in niche discussion boards or forums.   To find these, type “your niche/subject discussion board” or “your niche/subject forum” into a search engine like Google.   You can also pick up a few books on your subject from your local library.

Take notes on your ebook subject, and then organize them with an outline of your ebook.   Write a little at a time, and be sure to use spell check.   A good size for a free ebook is between 5 and 15 pages.   You can write a longer ebook (which might increase your affiliate sales) but I personally feel that you should charge for bigger sized ebooks – not give them away for free.

The first page of your ebook should always include a note stating that your ebook comes with free resale and giveaway rights, as long as none of the content is changed.
