Use the right keywords in
your title. Imagine you were a customer.
Now think of what words you
would type into Ebay's search engine to find what you
want. Place the
most important keywords in your title or no one will find
your listing. Don't
waste your time by writing too many things like "Wow, you
have to see this!" or "Deal of the
century!"

Using this
great
headline
analyzer for Ebay auction
titles has significantly increased my auction views
and sales.

Always
double check that your title is spelled
correctly before submitting your auction.
Most bidders only search
through titles. If bidders can't find you, they won't
pay you. Don't be
one of the poor sellers who loses out on traffic because
of a little mistake like
spelling.

I use Ebay's ad format to
save on fees. If
you have a store, I suggest you do the same.
At the time of this
writing, you
have to use Ebay's old selling format to get the ad
option. It costs less
than $10 to place an ad for 30 days.
I use Ebay's pro pack
to get more traffic to my ad, so the whole thing
would cost me about $40. Make sure your sales copy is
killer or it won't pay off. Now you have to list other related
auctions (all containing links back to your store) to
draw even more attention to your ad.
Set your store up
so that your ad is way at the top and always include
a picture with it – this can be done by using Ebay
store's promotion
boxes.

Don't write your whole
auction title in all caps. Use capital letters only on words that
you want to stand out. Here's an example: Avoid
SCAMS! Find Your Own
WHOLESALERS!

Listing add-ons are worth
using if you're in a category with a lot of
competition. To help
auction stand out I would use featured listing, a subtitle
(written in all caps) and the bold
feature. This applies
only if you're selling digital items (multiple) or if
you're selling more expensive
products,

Not everything sells well
on Ebay. I wouldn't bother with any niches that don't
already have paying
customers.
These Ebay selling tips can make you a ton of money if you can
select your products right. Learning how to make money
selling on Ebay is a great educational experience. The
huge auction marketplace is where many successful entreprenuers
get their start. It teaches you how to deal with
customers online, the importance of titles and sales copy, and
a little about coding and working
softwares.
Making money selling on Ebay is a great internet marketing
start, but again I caution you not to become too dependent on
them. Keep your customers to yourself when you
can.
